Congrats to Mei Wei!

If you didn’t know yet, fellow Malaysian Etsian Mei Wei at meiweihuang was featured in the local Chinese Newspaper, Kwong Wah Yit Poh on 24 March 2010! Congrats to Mei Wei!

Here is a scanned version of the feature, provided by Mei Wei.

You can also find an online version here.

Note from Mei Wei: The journey of handmade is not an easy one. We should all appreciate each other’s work and be glad of what we do. It’s sad to see so many real creative crafters/artists in the market affected by the copycats who don’t understand the value of handmade products – especially when the copycats are ignorantly lowering the price to create a ‘price war’. Let’s confidently value what we do, and do not let others set the value for us.

If you are recently featured in the press and would like to share with fellow team members, feel free to reach me at huey [at!] nottypooch.com or send me a convo on Etsy.
